I spent over a decade as a Marketing Director at some of Vietnam’s largest and fastest-growing companies — a top bank, a leading SaaS company, and an international IT outsourcing firm. In that time I built and led teams of up to 53 people, ran campaigns that 10x’d customer acquisition, and drove 170% web traffic growth across global markets.

In late 2024, I made the decision to go independent. Not because I was burned out, but because I saw something clearly: the combination of senior marketing strategy and AI automation was creating results that traditional marketing teams simply couldn’t match — and no one was offering it as a focused service.

I founded Novaluca to do exactly that. To bring CMO-level thinking together with hands-on AI automation — built on n8n, Claude, and modern growth infrastructure — and deliver it to growth-stage companies internationally at a price point that makes sense.

I work with a small number of clients at a time. Every engagement gets my full attention. No handoff to a junior team — just direct work from someone who has done this at scale.

THE REAL STORY

Why I left a Director-level career to build this

After 10 years leading marketing at director level, I had a comfortable career. Good salary, large teams, respected titles at well-known companies. But I kept seeing the same problem everywhere I worked: marketing teams spending the majority of their time on work that should be automated. Manual reporting. Manual follow-ups. Disconnected tools that nobody owned end-to-end.

When AI tools started maturing in 2023–2024, I went deep. I didn’t just experiment — I built real systems using n8n, Claude, and modern AI tools that replaced entire manual workflows. The results were clear: a small, AI-powered operation could outperform a traditional team three times its size. That’s when I knew I needed to build this as a business, not just use it personally.

I left corporate in late 2024. Not with a safety net of clients — just with conviction that the combination of senior marketing strategy and AI automation was genuinely valuable, and that growth-stage companies internationally were the right market for it. They need CMO-level thinking but can’t justify a $200K/year hire. They need automation but don’t have developers. That’s the gap Novaluca fills.

I’m building this transparently and honestly — sharing what works, what doesn’t, and what I’m learning. I only take on work I can genuinely deliver. I don’t oversell and I don’t disappear after onboarding. My reputation is the only thing that matters at this stage, and I treat every client engagement as if it’s the one that defines everything that comes next.
